I always had a laugh sitting with Vi on her front porch. She kept animal treats for local pets and she loved it when Kal, the dog I walk, came by for a visit.Rest in peace Vi.

Vi and I have been friends for 58 years. She has been my sister-in-law and we’ve remained sisters-in-kind for all these years. Vi had a happy and cheerful personality and she will be missed by family and friends.

Vi was a great loyal friend. We shared many fun times together over the past 50 years. She had a caring generous spirit and would light up any room. Her love for pets
was outstanding.

I was a neighbor of Vi’s for many years. She was a joy to sit and chat with on the front porch. Such a kind lady with a great sense of humour. She will be missed. May she rest peacefully.

Vi was a much loved addition to my London childhood. A dear friend of my mom, Katy Young, Vi spent many Friday nights enjoying dinner at our house on Bruce Street. My sister and I always loved seeing her and she will be missed.

To Vi’s Family –
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Vi. I remember her so well; she worked with my husband, Bill, for several years. We enjoyed many social times together. My caring thoughts are with you.

Auntie Vi , you were such a bubbly character, with such a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh , we loved hearing about you and Ev going to Vegas and playing the slot machines which you did at every opportunity , you were very much a glass half full person, we treasure the memories we have when you last visited us here in Scotland

Vi was in my life for such a long time and I vividly remember our visit to London ON when we were children. I remember visiting Wyatt Street to see John and Vi snr. Vi took me down the road to Scotty’s to buy donuts and took me on lots of trips to see Sam and Shirley. Vi and Ev visited Scotland and we had a such a fabulous holiday together going to Edinburgh and Loch Lomond. I visited Vi a few years ago and enjoyed all the trips as well as chatting on the porch, talking to the neighbours. I will miss Vi so much but treasure all of the memories.
