I got to know Jimm thru “the breakfast group” He was always unasumming and friendly. I and my wife Sandra, would pick him up and take back home from Richie’s. We learned at those times, his wit and knowledge, hobbies . I would call him usually every week, and enjoy his “dry humour” God Love you Jimm/
Peter and Brian, I’m so sad about your Dad’s passing. He was a loving, kind man, who i respected very much. Your Dad will always be a part of my life and will live on forever through the both of you and families. My sincere condolences. ??
Jim, I will greatly miss your family presence and lament that you are gone far too soon. We were 7 years apart in age, but saw most things in life through a very similar lens. It is a complete shame that we were unable to get together at any time in the last 6 or 7 months due to the horrible times we are enduring. May you rest in peace and suffer no more. I will see you someday, brother.
Kareen and Steve condolences on the passing of Jim
My condolences to the family. Such sad news.
Deepest Condolences to Jim’s family. I was shocked and saddened to read of Jim’s passing. I knew him since I was 18, as did my husband Derek for they were classmates at Fanshawe College and some years later were colleagues at the same firm for a time. Many years would go by, and lost connection but Jim reached out and called us during the first wave of Pandemic, a kind gesture, and we were so glad to have had that conversation with him. Gone too soon. Rest in Peace Jim.
Dave & Jane, Stephen & Karen, Peter & Mary Anne , Brian & Kristin , and all your families, I am sad to hear of Jim’s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with the McLachlan family and am grateful for the many visits we had with Jim in the recent years. Mom always tried to include him in our family time , whether it be a large family party or just enjoying a glass of wine. You are gone far too soon cousin Jim and will be missed. Sending you all love and comfort at this difficult time. You are in all our thoughts and prayers.

We are heartbroken for the loss of our dear friend Jim. Its hard to put into words what Jim has meant to our family. He has helped us with so many projects and has been present for so many of life’s special occasions during our 25yr friendship. When he lost his mother we anointed him a member of our extended family. We enjoyed every minute of our time together Jim. We have reminders of you everywhere we look and we are grateful for that. We trust that you are resting in peace. We will miss you terribly. We so wish your time here hadn’t ended so soon and without goodbyes. Rest in Peace. God Bless you Jim.
