Sorry to see about Peter’s passing. RIP. Our prayers are with the family
Peter was always there for us as his clients. He made it possible for us to go on long oversees vacations to recharge, while he would look after all the necessary arrangements for a brother to fly from his home in Orlando Floria, be picked up from airport and be driven to our house to look after a mother in a nursing home as an essential care giver in our absence.
Our deep condolences to Cathy and the family.
Peter was a dear man. I enjoyed working with him and loved his sense of humour. Rest In Peace??
Peter had a great sense of humour and his comments brightened the day. My deepest sympathy to his family, on his passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.
Although I only had the privilege to know Peter for just over a year, I am certainly grateful for having that privilege. He was an outstanding man and highly respected by the people he worked with and for. I am going to miss you Peter. To Cathy and the family, my heart truly breaks for you all. Take care of yourselves.
Dear Diane, Wally & family,
We learned of Peter’s passing today. Our paths crossed many times through the years. Peter taught both our kids, Nicole and Sean, and I substituted for him at St. David’s. Just two years ago, Peter arranged a trip for us through Alaska and the Yukon. His love of adventure made him a perfect travel advisor. We always enjoyed Peter’s sense of humour and distinctive laugh.
In friendship,
Brian & Linda Waddick
Wishing you comfort and peace in the days to come.
Deepest sympathies to the family. I have fond memories of working with Peter at St.David’s school. He always managed to fill the staffroom with laughter.
My husband Andrew and I were saddened to hear about the passing of Peter. Peter was an amazing person. He was kind, good with difficult people and situations, funny, and smart. He was one of the people I could rely on at work and I thought of him as a friend and one of my mentors. When my Mom passed away he had a way of checking in without being overbearing. He always had advice when asked for it. I think one of the best things I will remember about him is how proud he was of his family and how much he loved them (including his pups!). We often heard an update about one of his children or grandchildren shared with such affection for whom he was speaking about. I felt like we watched the family grow through Peter’s eyes.
When Peter and Cathy moved to their apartment we had the privilege of hearing tales of Wortley Village. It makes me smile to think about how happily he would describe sitting at a little table having a coffee with Cathy or going for a walk with Gracie. Peter really showed what it was to live.
With heartfelt condolences, our thoughts are with Peter’s family during this time. Take comfort in each other.
Peter was a lovely person, so friendly and quiet spoken. Often saw him walking Gracie and being happy to stop and chat for a few minutes. So sad.
Cathy and family, sorry for your loss but time will leave you with wonderful memories.
