BEITANS, Erika….

Peacefully at Hillside Manor Long Term Care, Stratford, Erika Beitans passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Arvids Beitans. Loving mother of Dace Smits and her late husband Edgars of Latvia, Inta Kusmanis and her husband Peteris of Toronto, Jan Beitans and his wife Brandy Shaw of Lucan and Martins Beitans of Granton. Cherished grandmother of Martins and Ieva Smits of Latvia, Talis Smits and his wife Katrina Balcere-Smite, Ansitis Smits who passed away in early childhood, Anneli (Kusmanis) and her husband Eriks Lusis of Kalamazoo Michigan, and cherished great-grandmother of Lilija and Anna Lusis, also of Kalamazoo. Dear sister-in-law of Vilis Kalnins of Detroit. Predeceased by her brothers Valdis Udris and Alfs Udris and her sister Astra Kalnins. Erika is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 1-3 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive-changes-to-funeral-and-visitation-attendance/, a limited number of people are able to attend.
