I lived next to Mary Jo during my childhood. She was a wonderful person and she will be greatly missed. She was an amazing cook and baker. I will never have homemade dill pickles like hers again. She loved animals. She is also reunited with her fur babies Tammy, Wendy and Maddie, Otis and Bow now. I have many pleasant and happy memories of growing up living next door to Mary Jo. She was a kind and wonderful person.
I knew Mary Jo for a long time. I am 94 years old and I remember when Mary Jo and her husband raised their children in their home. I always liked Mary Jo. She will be immensely missed.
A tribute to a Nurse who with grace , patience and a gentle hand welcomed many babies into the world .I always admired her for her calmness in every situations. I will miss talking and laughing with you. Goodbye My Friend.

My wife and I were next door neighbours of Mary Jo for years. She was a kind person and we were lucky to have a wonderful person like her for a neighbour. It was a loss we felt when she moved out of her home. It is an even greater loss now that she has passed. Mary Jo will be missed.
Linda and David I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories and love for her help you through this difficult time.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am saddened to learn of Mary Jo’s passing. I worked with Mary Jo in the Delivery Room at Victoria Hospital in the early 1970’s. She was such a kind and caring nurse and such a pleasure to work along side of her. I extend my deepest sympathy to all her family. May all the memories you have made keep you strong in the days ahead.
I am a volunteer at Meadow Park, and I met Mary when she came to live there. I found Mary to be a sweet, kind, and always upbeat even in her situation. She made an big impact on me in a short time and I will miss her terribly.
