So sorry to hear about Phil. We are all thinking about you at this really difficult time. Our prayers are with you and the children.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Phil. He was my uncle for many years when he was married to my aunt Shirley. I have many fond memories of him from when I was a child in England before we all immigrated to Canada. I have a definite recollection of Santa and his reindeer flying over the house one Christmas Eve though it was likely uncle Philip playing Santa for my sister and I, getting some practice in before Sue came along. I remember many weekends in the Eastern Townships in the summer and bowling in the winter when we lived in Montreal. Christmases were always fun family times with Sue and Brett when they were little before I followed my parents out west. My condolences to all his family.
Dear Lynn, Hilary and Roger – so sorry for your loss of Phil – a wonderful husband and father.
Lynn, my deepest sympathizes to you and your children. May you find comfort in the arms of family and dear friends. Sending you hugs and hope for easier days.
Saddened to hear this news! My thoughts and prayers are with all of Phil’s family and friends at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of serving with him on the board of directors of our accounting association for several years and he will be missed by the “senior” members. We had several exam marking sessions and after these I discovered that a British beer or two brought out the best of Phil’s dry sense of humour. Rest in peace.
