After a brief illness, peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at St. Thomas Elgin Hospital, Ruth Elizabeth Sands, aged 72. Special sister of Lois Wall (Jeff). Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Phyllis Sands of London. Ruth liked bright colours, picnics, playing the piano and making music. She will be missed by her friends at Chester Residence, Bible Baptist Church, St. Andrew’s United Church in St. Thomas and remembered at Faith Chapel in London. We mourn her loss while knowing she is in a better place, safe in the arms of her Lord. Friends and Guests will be welcomed for visiting on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 9:30-11:30 am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. There will also be a memorial service in Ruth’s memory, that will take place at a later date in St. Thomas. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of your choice.
