Peacefully at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer, on Monday, September 16, 2019, Adele passed away in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Werner Gerald Otten. Proud and loving mother of Irma Pedersen, Ute Marita Otten and Gerald Otten. Dear grandmother of Edward (Shannon), Dan (Janelle), Erich, Leiah and their mother Rhonda, Brooke and Brooke’s mother Susan Hopper, Taylor and Erica and great-grandmother of Alysse, Ashlyn, Ethan and Emma. Dear sister of Ida Menz of Germany. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law Udo Menz, Gunther Otten and Fritz Kasseler and sisters-in-law Therese Kasseler and Margret Otten. Also loved by her nieces and nephews. Adele was a dedicated and hardworking wife and mother, she lived a long and productive life in the farming community in Union, Ontario. Adele will be missed and remembered by many long-life friends and members of the German Canadian Club and St. John’s Lutheran Church. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 10-11am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11 am. Interment in Aylmer Cemetery, Aylmer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario, 4500 Blakie Rd #117, London, ON N6L 1G5.
