Obituary
MORTON, Alice May “Maisey”…
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at University Hospital on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019, Alice May Morton, lovingly known as Maisey, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Morton (2016) for over 60 years. Loving companion to Gerry Embury. Loving mother of Ron, Don, and daughter-in-law Gail. Cherished Nana of Heather and husband Craig, Laura, Samantha and Amanda, and Great-Nana to Maisy. Loving sister to the late Doreen Lansborough. To all those that knew Maisey, she was a kind-hearted, nurturing and bright-light in this world. Always there to offer an encouraging word, Maisey was a positive woman who worked hard on everything she did. From devoting herself to her career at London Life, to supporting her children and grandchildren in their dreams, she always did so with an admirable amount of grace. We will miss you every day – Sweet Dreams, Nana. Maisey’s family wants to lovingly thank Kelsey, Laureen and Rachel, as well as all of the staff at the Waverly Retirement Residence for their unwavering care and support. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, between 11am – 1pm, at A. Millard George Funeral Home Reception Centre, 60 Ridout Street South, London, situated on the southeast corner of the parking lot. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maisey’s memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada. Online condolences, memories and photographs shared at www.amgfh.com
