My sincerest, deep condolences to Ron and the family. Heather fought her diagnosis with dignity and determination. I only wish I had a chance to know her better in life.
Seeing Heather always put a smile in my heart. She began as a client of mine. I remember the first time we met, thinking how warm and funny she was. When I went to leave we spontaneously hugged. Then we ended up standing there talking for another half an hour which was followed by another hug goodbye. And then we continued to stand there talking for yet ANOTHER half an hour of talking and ANOTHER hug goodbye. Just thinking of that as I write this makes me smile inside and wish I could hug her one last time. Love you & will always miss you, Heather. You were such a warrior and an absolute inspiration. Fly free, dear one. ??
Ron, Mike and I want to express our deepest condolences and tell you that you and your family are in our thoughts. We didn’t know Heather well but we do know she was the light of your life. May you take comfort in knowing that she is at peace.
The world is a lesser place with the loss of your wife, Ron. I am so sad for you; you are both in my prayers at this difficult time.
On behalf of the Friends of the London Civic Garden Complex, I wish to extend our sincere sympathies to Ron and family. Heather was a volunteer with us for 6 years and during this time was very active as our Finance Coordinator. We fondly remember visiting her lovely garden on one of the tours.
Heather was a member of the Garden Club of London from 2010 – 2016. As well as for her contribution to the club, she is remembered fondly for her friendship and sense of humor. Our sympathy and condolences go to her family who must have warm memories of her, as do we, to keep her living on in out hearts.
I love the smile in this picture and have fond memories of the time I spend with Heather in my youth. She taught me how to be a 13 year old treasurer, nurtured my love of the outdoors, mentored my leadership skills and celebrated with me at my wedding. I admired her strength, determination, and energy. Thank you, Heather, for all the ways you touched my life. I wish you joy and peace. My condolences to Ron, and family.
