HELWIG, Ronald G….
Peacefully with his family by his side at University Hospital, London, on June 2, 2019, Ron passed away in his 70th year. Dear son of Alice and the late Ronald C. Helwig. Cherished brother of Karen Mote and her husband Larry, the late Bryan Helwig (Debbie), the late Linda Taplin (the late Tom) and Dan Helwig (Linda). Loved uncle of Kala, Brandon (Ashley), Tanner, Ryan, Holly (Josh), Avery, Ashley, Jennifer, Jim and Nancy and great-uncle of Mikayla, Emily, Cameron, Aria, Christopher, Billy, Michael and Nicholas. Ron will be so sadly missed by his best fur baby, Max and all of his friends at the 1194 Commissioners Road Complex. The family wishes to thank the staff in the ICU at University Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 12-2 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London at a later date. Ron was a man with a quiet sprit. I was his neighbor on the seventh floor. Got to know him though Max. Would talk to Ron in passing in the elevator. He always had a Christmas reef up on his door. Miss his quite ways.
