I would like to wish Bill’s family my deepest condolences and thoughts. I knew Bill and Peggy several years ago, but we had lost touch. We lived in the same building in London and socialized and at their house after that. Bill was truly a hero, not just a war hero, but as a man and husband and father. I heard all of his and Peggy’s interesting and heart-wrenching stories and could not believe how strong he and Peggy were. They were a fabulous team and we loved spending time with them both. They are dearly missed. I will never forget them both and may Bill rest in peace alongside Peggy. Thinking of you all!
I offer my sincere condolences. I remember Bill well from my many visits as a customer to the variety store outside Bothwell. He and Peggy were such pleasant people and I always enjoyed a laugh with both of them.
