SCOTT, Edna Jean (nee Nixon)…
January 10, 1922 – December 10, 2018
Passed away at PeopleCare Oakcrossing Retirement Living, London after a brief but compassionate stay. Beloved wife of the late Stewart E. Scott for 54 years (April 2013). Predeceased by sisters Bessie Sharman (Nov 2018) and Della Hoffman (Oct 2011), and by brother Fred Nixon (Sept 2010). Jean is fondly remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks goes out to her niece Rose Stephen, and to all the staff, volunteers and friends at Grand Wood Park retirement home in London where she was lovingly cared for during the past 15 years. Thanks to Dr. David Munro for his constant care and to St. Joseph’s Hospice volunteer, Jane, who visited Jean every week. Cremation has taken place and interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, London. I remember Jean so well from when I was young especially. My sister and I loved her dearly . She spent many Christmas Days with us and we never wanted her to go home. Whenever we got together at family gatherings she was always special to us. We didn’t see her much in later years but she always remained so dear to our hearts.
