On Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Horizon Place in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Walter Smith (1984) and the late Charles Box (1964). Predeceased by her son John Box (1984). Dear mother-in-law of Dale Box of London. Loving grandmother of Kelley Box of Nelson, BC and Stephen Box and his wife Kelly of Winlaw, BC and great-grandmother of Tenai Scott (Joel Hall) of Nelson, BC, Holly Frey and Mackenzie Frey both of BC, Terra Mae Box of Winlaw, BC and Joshua Dewbury of Tofino, BC. Great great grandmother to Clementine Frannie Hall. Aunt of John Belmont (Karen). Sister-in-law of Jeanette Box and nieces Margaret Campbell (Brian) and Barbara Box. Fran will be missed by all who knew her. Friends are welcomed for visiting on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at St. George’s Anglican Church, 227 Wharncliffe Road North, London, ON N6H2B6 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. Private family interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Donations if wished, can be made to St. George’s Anglican Church or the Ronald McDonald House, 741 Base Line Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6. So sorry to hear of Frans passing away. She was a great friend and I have so many fond memories of her. I’m sure she will be sadly missed by her friends and family. I have lots of fond memories of Fran and Walter when they lived in Scotland
