I was with tears in my eyes that I read of Karen’s passing. She was a terrific person. In the 25 years I have dealt with Karen through, the business ,she has been fun, personable with a wicked sense of humour. We both shared a love for dogs and had conversations about them She will be sadly missed. I remember many years ago stopping in to see her, I can’t remember what is was, but I had my sister with me as it was a quick fix, and Karen and Lawrie invited us into their home for a drink and conversation. It was a hoot.
Ken, John and Drew all thought well of her and were saddened when I told them the new. Our thought and prayers are with Sandra and family, friends and of course Mark who she spoke so highly of. Karen will never be gone as her memories are in all of us.
I met Karen at work 43 years ago and we developed a wonderful friendship, and have kept in touch even after her retirement. I will miss you my friend our little chats, and up to date emails on daily happenings. Rest in peace and until we will meet again. Love you Karen! Your friend Colleen xox
