“Well done, good and faithful servant”.
You will be missed, but what a legacy you’ve left your beloved family. My condolences to you all.
My family showed up at Forest Cliff 45yrs ago and I have a favorite memory of Harold. One hot, late night a group of us were having a water fight and I’d snuck into the old kitchen to fill 2 big buckets of water. With full buckets, I was running down the center of the dining hall towards the swinging doors. In came Harold through the swinging doors. I was sure I was in for it. All Harold said was ‘go to bed’. I never broke stride, I put the buckets down and ran right past him and out the swinging doors. He never mentioned it again, and about 5 yrs later I was directing summer camp for Harold and Greta. What a gracious man, a humble spirit and a sincere heart for God. Absent in body and at home with his Lord.
Harold, do say hi to my dad when you see him at that great campfire in the sky.
Cathy & Kevin, Sheila & Dave, thinking of you right now and praying that God’s love will comfort you and give you strength during this time of sorrow. We know that Harold is now rejoicing in Heaven and someday we will see him again. What a wonderful promise …….John 14:1-3
With love, Wanda & Gary
What wonderful memories we have of Harold and Greta. We are so sorry we cannot be with you,but please know that Harold is rejoicing with the Lord, and we have the reassurance we will meet again.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Harold. I have such fond memories of Harold and Greta at Byron Community Church. Growing up, I always knew that Harold was praying for us kids. He was such a strong prayer warrior and he always made time to talk and find out what we were up to. His dedication and joy of Forest Cliff Camp was to be admired. I will never forget that deep, gentle voice. I can hear him singing now.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Thinking and praying for all of you during this time of grief. Harold was an amazing man of faith. I have such fond memories of him growing up at Byron Community Church. As a teenager and young adult, I always knew that Harold was praying for me and was interested in seeing me grow spiritually. His dedication to Forest Cliff Camp, his strong hand shakes and his singing with his deep, gentle voice will be remembered.
Praying for God’s strength during this difficult time, but rejoice in knowing you will be reunited some day.
Greta, Dave and Cathy, and families.

Dear Kathy, Kevin, Sheila, David and family.
I am sending my love and prayers at this time of your loss. I loved your Mom and Dad as so many did. Your Dad was always a true example of Jesus.

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Harold. He greeted me with a smile since I was young and was always so welcoming. My condolences to the family.
So Beloved by The Wilson Family.
Greta and Harold welcomed us to Byron
Chapel in 1988 . They were Grandpa and Grandma to my children. They were my support system when my
Andy passed away calling me daily with encouragement and prayer.
We are grieving with your family and holding you in our thoughts and prayers. Love to you all. Edie
