I met Doug maybe 10 years ago thru my workplace. Doug always had a funny line or a compelling story to tell causing me to hang off every word…Doug will be dearly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Doug about 7 years ago, through one of my jobs. I remember that when he first saw me, he looked like he knew me. he eventually asked me if I was a “Lawn Bowler” and when I said I was, he said that many years ago, he used to watch me and my dad play at the club. he told me that he respected how me and my dad got along. Doug always seemed to be happy to see me when he came to my workplace, always referred to me as “Mr Jones”. I was always happy to see Doug too…have a nice chat, and tried to show him the respect he showed to others. RIP Doug, with my respect. KJ
