Peacefully, on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Victoria Hospital, London, Phyllis passed away in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Elmer Mennell. Dear mother of Robert Mennell (Francine) and Karen Mennell both of London. Grandma of Jackie and Christine (Tim Knoop). Sister of Norma Barr (late James) of London, Geraldine Davis (Robert) of Ridgetown, Sheila Stafford (Lawrence) of London, Helen Johnson (late Leonard) of London and Carol Hawkins (Donald) of London. Predeceased by her parents George and Constance Walker and brothers William, George and David. Friends and family are welcomed for visiting on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 12:00 -1:00 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will take place in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis’ memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, PO Box 640 STN K, Toronto, ON M4P 9Z9 or Church of the Epiphany, 11 Briscoe Street West, London, ON N6J 1L9.
