I first came to know Elson and Joan a long time ago when Canon Peach was the minister at St. Luke’s. Elson was a gentle-man who had an interesting history leading up to his then position at St. Joseph’s Hospital. It was always a pleasure to speak with him and enjoy his “special sausages” on Shrove Tuesday night. I have missed his presence and his keen observations of how the church was evolving, not necessarily in a way he and I were brought up to expect. You will be missed Elson.
Our sincerest thoughts and prayers Sharon and family as you navigate through this difficult loss. May God grant you peace and understanding in this time of need.
