Very sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing. We have not been in touch for some time, but always loving memories of him in our hearts. Gary lived with Sandy and Moe in Glencoe for a couple of years and Sandy lived with us for a year before returning to practice in London. Our oldest son Mike’s middle name is Alexander after our dear friend. He thought the world of his niece and nephew and family. We are away at this time but are thinking of you. God Bless you all. …Sincerely, Gary, Susan, Mike and family, Nicole (Windsor) and family, and Monte and family.
Sandy was our Dr. when we lived in Glencoe. Our youngest daughter had Sandy to thank for diagnosing her with heart & liver problems. He had treated a baby in London before coming to Glencoe. Peter also had Sandy for a Dr. when our family Dr. in London was on holidays. He will be greatly missed.
I would like to offer my sincere condolences for your loss. My father….. (deceased for 25 years) Dr Harry Hudson was a dear colleague and patient of Sandy’s…..together now
Sandy and I were friends and classmates at medical school. He came to work with me in Glencoe in 1965. Sandy, Gary McNaughton and I lived in Dr Freele’s old house and office on the Main Street and shortly after we moved the medical practice to the new office next door. We shared a number of Saturday nights with friends watching hockey night in Canada on one of the first colour television sets in town. He was Best Man at my wedding in 1967 and while I was away on my honeymoon he oversaw the safe delivery of my Keeshond puppies. When I returned home he went to live with Susan and Gary McNaughton. Not long after that he moved back to London to be closer to his family. Unfortunately I didn’t see much of him after that. I enjoyed working with him and have some great memories of our time together.
My sincere condolences to the family.
