Ann and I and our family would like to offer you our deepest condolences to you at this time . . . I was blessed to be able to call him Uncle Palmer . . . He will always be remembered with fond memories that will never be forgotten . . . David, Robert, Alex and William to you and all your families our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time . . . He is not gone as the indigenous people say He has taken his last walking out ceremony onto the land he has just taken his last journey which one day we will all follow him . . . until then we will always remember the footprints that he has left on our spirits and we will honour him always until we meet again. . . . Grant us grace to entrust Palmer Ernest to your never–failing love which sustained him in this life. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, and remember him according to the favour you bear for your people. God Bless you all.

We are sorry to learn of Palmer’s recent death. We were neighbours in Guildwood Blvd in the 1970s-1980s, and always held him in high regard.
My condolences to your entire family on Palmer’s death. He was a wonderful person and I’m glad to have known him during his winters in Florida.
