Adora, I am deeply saddened by your loss. My condolences to you and your family. Sending live and healing tboughts your way. xo
You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.
So sad to hear the news, albeit I just found out from mom today – she asked me to convey her deepest sympathies to the whole family as she is out of the country right now. I always enjoyed Onkel Max’s quick wit and matching sense of humour during my visits when I was younger – warmest regards and hugs during this difficult time.
Adora: My family and I are thinking of you at this difficult time. May you find peace in the memories you created together along the journey of life. Hugs. Michele
Hello Eric; I saw the notice of your Dad’s passing and wanted to express my sorrow for your loss.
On a more personal note, I had a tour of the Waterloo campus just 2 weeks ago, and while the buildings we remember still remain, there are SO many others which have been erected since we were there.
On a more local note, as my parents still live in a nursing home in Oakville, and was recently there to visit, I wound my way through the streets to have a look at our first family home at the corner of Brookside and Woodale only to find it demolished and being replaced by a modern “monster home” under construction. Please feel free to write back if you are so inclined.
I am still in touch with friends from our Waterloo days as well as some from the old Morden schoool neighbourhood…Paul
Eric,
I’m sad to hear about your dad, mine went the route of Alzheimer’s back in 96 when I had already gone to South America.
Here’s a wave to Paul, who I haven’t seen in a couple of centuries, but I imagine that he and Wendy are converting the natives to some kind of christian faith.
And as for you, don’t know what happened after HS, but we all have our own soap operas to live in.
Best of luck.
