MEYER, Heike….
Heike (Heidi) Meyer passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the age of 65. Heike was born in Hamburg Germany. She lived the early years of her life between Canada and Germany, but spent all of her adult life living, working and raising her family in London, Ontario. She married Dieter on May 30, 1970; together they welcomed 3 children: Andreas, Annette and Tyson. She made all of our lives brighter every day with her kind words, actions and messages. An avid and talented gardener, she made the world a little more beautiful and fragrant with her spectacular home garden, creating a relaxing and peaceful oasis for all who entered her back yard. She is preceded by her parents Gunther and Katie Grap, as well as her brother, Karl Hagen. She is survived by her husband, Dieter, her children, Andreas (Erin) Meyer, Annette (Derek) Matte, and Tyson Meyer, her 6 adoring grandchildren, Lukas, Miya, Mikale, Ryian, Benjamin and Anna, as well as her nephew Rolf Hagen and many close friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 10 – 11am on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The celebration of life will take place in the funeral home chapel at 11am. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Base Line Road East, London ON N6C 9Z9. Dieter & family – I was surprised and saddened to hear of Heidi’s passing. I remember so many Friday nights at the shop and having such good times. May you all cherish your memories of Heidi. Thinking of all of you at this time.
Dear Meyer family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Heidi and I worked together and she was a wonderful person and will be missed
We send our love and want you to know that we mourn with you. We have great memories of Church events, golfing in the evening and barbecues on the deck, Grand Bend at the beach and of course the pickle stories! When one has a heartache we all shed a tear.
Dieter and family please accept our sincere condolences. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Heidi. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
