FARQUHAR, Ken…..
Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy, on Monday, September 18, 2017. Ken Farquhar in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (McLachlan) Farquhar (2017) and the late Joyce (Clark) Farquhar. Dear father of Karole Toombs and her husband Stan of London, Darlina Lockyer and her husband Dean of Little Current, and Grant Farquhar and his wife Debra of London. Dear step-father of Barb Goebel and her husband Bob. Much loved Grandpa and great-Grandpa. Step-father-in-law of Don Thomson and Steve Ager and his wife Susan. Predeceased by his step-children Leslie Ager and Judy Thomson. Ken was a Veteran of WWII in the RCAF. The family would like to thank the staff at Sprucedale for their love and support. Cremation has taken place. A community memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:30pm, at Sprucedale Care Centre, 96 Kittridge Avenue East, Strathroy ON N7G 2A8. Private Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Harvest Bible Chapel, 250 Commissioners Road East, London ON N6C 2T1 or Sprucedale Care Centre. A. I first met Ken when Don married Judy in London. I had many wonderful conversations with him over the years and he was a very special man…always intetesting and intetested in what you had to say. My condolences to his children….
