PARKER, Alice …
Peacefully, at the McCormick Home on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017, Alice E. (Armstrong) Parker of London in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Joseph A. Parker of London. Dear mother of Thomas and his wife Theresa of London, Andrew and his partner Brent of Toronto, and Robert and his husband Lee of Stratford. Loving grandmother of 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Peter Armstrong and his wife Valerie of Kitchener, sister-in-law Beverley Simpson of London and brother-in-law, Scott Wells of Paris and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother John Armstrong, sister Joyce Wells, sister-in-law Irene Nidenoff and brother-in-law Robert Simpson. Alice and Joe owned Parker Typesetting where she was the Secretary Treasurer for many years. Friends will be received at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South 1 hour prior (10-11am) to the funeral service being held on Friday, September 22, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Internment to follow at the Masonic plot at Woodlawn Cemetery, London on Springbank Drive. The family expresses deep gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Memory Lane at the McCormick Home.
