Obituary
OSIER, Mary Catherine (nee Kennedy)…
Of London Ontario (formerly Sarnia and Glencoe Ontario), passed away Thursday, August 17th in White Rock, BC, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Adored by her husband of 49 years, Joel, and beloved by her children Jennifer (Steve Knezic) Jonathon (Janis Rivard), Joelle Stanley (Scott) and Jillian (Steve Willick). She was a fiercely devoted grandmother to two little boys who loved her dearly, Theremin and Rhodes Stanley. She is predeceased by her parents William and Catherine Kennedy and brother Neil Kennedy (Joan). She will be dearly missed by her surviving siblings, Peter Kennedy and Martha Vojin (Mike), her brother-in-law Jerry Osier (Marie). Mary will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews and a lifelong group of close friends. Mary was a graduate (and the President of her class) of St. Mary’s nursing school in Kitchener. As an RN, Mary touched many lives in the hospitals and nursing homes in which she worked. She had a real love of nursing and an incredible boundless energy when it came to taking care of everyone around her. No matter where she went she seemed to know someone: often to the dismay of her kids, there was never a trip to the store without a stop to chat with a friend or acquaintance. Mary was funny, feisty, smart and strong. Her spirit will be missed more than words can say, but it will live on in the hearts of her family. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 3-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London, ON N6C 9Z9. Online condolences, memories and photographs shared at www.amgfh.com

My sincere sympathy to Mary’s family…..she was indeed a beautiful Lady whom I remember with great fondness. She was an angel on earth, may she rest in the arms of the celestial angles in Heaven.
Dear Joel: I am so saddened to learn that you have lost your life-long soulmate. A tremendous void for the
whole family, and I wish you “strength” in this difficult time. Your family was so kind to me in my informative years. Ron Willer
