My Aunt Lois will always be remembered for the many numerous times our families blended and got together for sing songs…dinners…garage sales…good laughs. Lois loved her family very much and often spoke of them. Cherish your memories Murray, Gary & family. Gone but never forgotten ??
love Linda Darryl and Ethan
It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I send my deepest condolences to Gary, Eva and the girls, to Murray, and to all of Lois’ family. Lois was such a dear soul and a very special person to me. Lois and Norval looked after me from when I was 10 months old to 7 years old. My mom had placed an ad in the newspaper looking for child care for me and Lois responded. The rest is history. Both Norval and Lois treated me like I was their own grandchild. They have greatly contributed to the person I am today. Although our “working” relationship ended when I was 7, our friendship continued. Lois was an extended part of my family. I enjoyed all of our visits and phone calls. I want to say a special thank you to Gary and Murray…you both were so good to Lois and looked after her so well. She was very lucky to have you both. I am sorry for not being there in person, but I am certainly there in spirit. I was fortunate enough to have just visited Lois about a month ago. We had a wonderful visit. She said being 92 was “the pits”…haha. To Lois, I will forever miss our phone calls and our laughs together. I am so very grateful for having you in my life! Miss you already!! Love Jody xxoo
Lois was the most polished proper lady I had ever met. She was always immaculately dressed with the most flattering colour scheme that was so complimentary to her. The year was 1977 when we met. I had advertised for a care giver for my daughter Jody and she was the perfect candidate. Through the years Lois had become a part of our lives and was like family. Her relationship with my daughter was so endearing and has lasted all these years. Lois was the dearest of friends and confidant. Her love for her family was very evident in conversations and the many photos that she would share. She will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. Many thanks to Gary/Eva/Murray for taking special care of her when she most needed it.
Miss you… Love Wendy
My eldest Sister Lois was a special person to me, always a listening ear and help to me. I will miss her phone calls and her wisdom was always accepted. I know that she is in a special place and I look forward to seeing her again with the rest of the family.
Rest in Peace Lo. You are loved.
Our special prayers are with my dear nephews, Gary and Murray.
