My condolences to Debbie and John and family. Mr Cole was a very special person. He will be missed by many who knew him. He leaves behind a daughter and a son as well as grandchildren who he lives on in. May peace be with this family at this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I grew up knowing Jack as the father of my dearest friend, and a gracious and kind presence in our neighbourhood. I visited Jack at Glendale in February and we were able to have a few laughs, share some memories and shed a few tears. Jack had a great sense of adventure and I took many road trips and camping excursions with the family. Jack had a wonderful sense of humour, and would always tease me about how quickly I could get money out of my dad’s wallet, and how I once made coffee so strong, that the spoon stood straight up in the cup. He was a good neighbour and friend to my dad, and I am especially grateful for the fun they had together.
My love and sympathies to Debbie and her family at this time of incredible loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Debbie in remembrance of your Dad. Hold on to those special memories and he will live on in your heart forever.
You were our Uncle Jack too. Fondly remembered at all of the family picnics and the Holko kids celebrations, always at the side of our beloved aunt Lenore and her sister Mary Large. God bless
Jack worked with my dad Sid Coward at Lawson Business Forms years ago. He came to dad’s funeral in 2012. Jack was always a kind man who we’d see when we came to visit dad as kids so many years ago at the plant. Sorry for your loss.
