GELLATLY, Jean….

Peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at University Hospital, London, Jean Gellatly passed away in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Gellatly (2014). Cherished mother of Sharon Besterd and her husband Randy. Loved grandma of Erica Besterd. Predeceased by her brother Phil Brown and his wife Dorothy. Friends will be received by the family for visiting one hour prior (10-11 am) to the funeral service on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11 am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation, 747 Base Line Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6.     So sorry to read of Jean’s passing. She was on the sidelines for nearly all of Jack’s lawnbowling games. Great supporter. She enjoyed coming to Exeter to shop at a dress shop here.

    Sharon. Margaret and I remember you and your mother and father with such fond memories in Byron, must be 50 years ago. Your mother was a lovely lady.
    You had her with you for so many years. You will miss her.
    Margaret is away right now, but would love to get in touch with you again some time. she is on Face Book. Lives in Burlington On.
