Doug to you and your family, Katie and I express our condolences for your loss; the picture of your Dad tells me he had your sense of humour and lookout on life!

Your father, Ron, trained me to be a letter carrier. I loved his sense of humour and listening to him and the other seasoned letter carriers exchange banter, like boys in a frat house. He was always kind and never in a bad mood. Always the gentleman. I remember seeing him once when I was delivering mail and he was now retired. I think he was on the roof of Doug’s house, in his old Post Office shirt and he was helping to shingle the roof.
What a great man. I am so glad to have known your father.
Deeply sorry about your loss, your Dad was an amazing man. I met Ron 5 years ago, when mom was admitted to the Veterans Care Program at Western Counties Wing.
Now as a volunteer, I’ll miss seeing and talking with him in the hallways or during events. Rest in peace my friend, you’ll never be forgotten.
Doug, Nancy and family
Sorry to hear about your Dad Doug. I was telling Bailey how I use to look forward to Fridays when your dad was our mailman. There would always be a donut wrapped in serviette in the mail box for me.
Doug & Nancy, John & Leslie, Dave and all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your dad was a wonderful man, with his sense of humor, twinkle in his eyes, compassion and gift of the gab. You have wonderful memories of him and now it is his turn to dance with your mom and visit with his mom and dad, brothers and sisters. Love Sue & Carroll
To Doug, John, Dave and families. Your dad was a wonderful brother, full of fun, hardworking and someone to look up to. He lived a full and productive life. Brother Don
