Obituary
BLOIS, Archie …
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Archibald Armand Blois (Archie) of London in his 75th year at London Health Sciences on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Archie was the devoted and loving husband to Marie for more than 50 years, wonderful father to Lucas and Jay of Toronto, Carly and Greg of Tavistock, and cherished “Pop-up” to his granddaughters, Avery and Reece. His greatest joy in life was his family. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Archie was predeceased by his mother Catherine Green, stepfather Sol Green, father Charles Blois, in addition to his sister and brothers. Archie will be sadly missed by his sister Dell, and all his nieces and nephews, his many good friends and others whose lives he touched. Archie loved his sports especially his golf and the Blue Jays. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle soul and his belief in fairness throughout his life. The family would like to thank our dear friend Cate for her loving support and friendship. Also to Dr. David Palma, for his expertise, compassion and friendship shown to our family. Friends are invited for visiting on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6 – 9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel.
