We will, so very much, miss seeing George sail down the ski hill with grace, style and strength. He was first to the post-race party in full costume including wigs, beads and a huge smile. Gone far too soon. Cheers my friend.
We will continue to hold dear the memory of George sitting on the front porch as we walked by with our dog. He was a larger than life person who brought joy and laughter to us as neighbours. We will miss him terribly. We cannot express how we feel about this tragedy of losing George at such a young age. Our deepest condolences to Joyce and the boys.

Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set on me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little–but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me–but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds,
Miss me–but let me go
I did not know George long but he will leave a lasting impression. Our sons Loren and Matt played Oakridge hockey together. He always was so supportive and passionate about his son. I remember he drove Matt and me to a tournament in Detroit. It was on that drive that he told us all about his escape from communist Czechoslovakia. What a story, but I sure could have done without him steering with his knees and talking with his hands on the I 94. He also is the one who introduced me to Czech beer and I will have one in honour of him tonight. George may you continue to hike the tallest mountains and ski the finest hills. RIP George.
George was a compassionate, understanding teacher. He knew how to take the good with the bad and if you make a mistake just apologize, pick yourself up off the ground and keep on going. He lived by that, escaping communism in his country , learning a new language and culture and by going through the hiring process 5 times before becoming a CFIA Inspector. He endured many things which inspired me and stayed in contact with me and many people for years.
I have no doubt that he is still marching on and his family will continue to do the same.
Bless you George.
George has left us all far too soon. Our sincerest condolences go to the Dobransky family for your loss.
We will fondly remember his kind and friendly presence next door and I know that Iain especially will miss George calling out to him with that big booming greeting of “Hi Iain, my boy!”, always one of those hallmarks of a nice day when George was outside. Rest in Peace, George.
Our condolences to all in the Dobransky family. Duri was such a great person, He will live on in our memories forever.

Hello Dustin and family,
My depest condolences for you and your family. I cannot even imagine what you are going through. All my love and biggest hugs and I will be keeping you in my thoughts.
I will never forget the summer in Poland when you were there with your grandfather and we were able to see you and drive you back to your grandfathers’ house over the mountains. It was so beautiful and a lot of fun. I have never seen that side of the mountains.
I will also never forget spending time with you when I was younger. We had a lot of fun on the beach. Your family has always been so kind, especially to my brother who considers you a very good friend.
I am very sorry for not being able to arrive at the church with my family but I have been living in Australia for almost 3 years now.
If you ever need anything I am always here for you.
Be strong and lots of love from
