EGBERS, Martina…..
It is with great sadness the family announces that Martina (Doosje) Egbers passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s – Mount Hope, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Jan Egbers (2010), loving mother of John Egbers (Amy), Tina Baker and Rei Egbers (the late Kate Kelly). Cherished Oma of Jennifer, the late Chris, Paul, Colin, Reed and Adrian. She was blessed to have 10 great-grandchildren; Joab, Kai, Lila, Liam, Noah, Quinn, Desmond, Arlo, Kai and Wes. Predeceased by her brothers Wim, Jan, and Joop. Martina will be missed by her sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews in Holland. A special thanks from the family goes out to the 3rd floor staff at St. Mary’s, for the kindness and care provided. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (3-4pm) to the Memorial service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 4pm. My Angel on earth now has her wings and is with her beloved Jan (Opa) and the family she missed so dearly. I know she is happy and at peace, surrounded by so much love. She was so joyful and loving and kind and I am truly blessed to have had her in my life. I love her so very dearly.
