Obituary
McClean, Carol Ann (Seales)….
On April 10, 2017 at Mount Hope Hospital, Trinidad & Tobago, Carol Ann McClean (Seales) with family by her side went to be with her husband of 50 years, Mervyn Ignatius McClean who passed away on August 26, 2016. Carol was in Trinidad to fulfill her late husbands last wishes along with her children and grandchild. The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all and will provide long lasting memories for all. Carol is the loving mother and a best friend to her children Michelle and Jeremie “Jay”. She is the cherished “Macca” to her grand-daughter TaliaRose, dear sister of MacDonald “Mackie”, Ronnie “Lamb”, Tony, Vera, Patrick, Anne-Marie, Nova and Jimmy. Carol is predeceased by her parents Winston Gregory Seales and Ira Joy Seales (Waterman), brother Jimmy and sister Elenor. She is an auntie, cousin, god-mother, sister-in-law to the respective spouses and last but not least is a dear friend and “sister” to Derrick, dear dear friend to Lucille, Florence, Phillo and Mr. & Mrs. J. Douglas Goodge (predeceased) After leaving Trinidad to join her fiancée in Canada, Carol worked at Dearness Home, London Hospital Linen Service and Shoppers Drug Mart all while being a supportive wife, mother and friend to all those that loved her laugh, gentle caring nature and of course her willingness to help those in need. Carol was raised in the Catholic tradition early in her childhood in Trinidad, this kindled her lifelong relationship with God. Shortly after immigrating to Canada she attended a revival in the city and rededicated her life along with her husband Mac to Jesus and found her peace in sharing a lifelong relationship with Christ as a Protestant. No matter the situations life threw at her, Carol stood firm on her faith and inspired friends and family to strengthen their faith as well. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Beverley Guide Williams – of J. E. Guide Funeral Home and A. Millard George Funeral Home. A special mention goes out to her niece Kursty-Ann “Leggy” Samuels who was by Carol’s side supporting her into the next phase of her life. Family and friends will be received at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 11am to 1pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1 pm. Private interment. Carol – I always thought of you as my second Mom. Be sure to say Hello to my Mom – although I’m sure you already have.
My heart goes out to Michelle and Jay we were the loves of her life. She was a great lady a ray of sunshine and a whole lot of fun. She gave us a reason to go to work every single day at Hamilton Rd. Shopper’s even when we dreaded it .She always talked about you two and your dad was her everything. they are now together once again dancing in heaven and they did on earth. She will be missed by all who worked with her. God Bless
