NORRIS, G. Aileen…

Peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, Aileen Norris passed away at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Reg Norris (1999). Loving mother of Virginnia Hawkes (Paul) of London, Linda McLarty (Archie) of Brantford and Judy Kojlak (Jerry) of London. Also, loved by her grandchildren Paul Hawkes Jr. (Charmaine), Stephen Hawkes (Janice), Jeremy Kojlak (Andrea), Jenna Ketcheson (Scott), Tom McLarty (Michelle) and her 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Marie Boyle, Louise Butler and Verlyn Bray. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.  Aileen was a long-standing member of the Anglican Parish of Holy Trinity and St. Stephens Memorial Church. Friends are welcomed to celebrate Aileen’s life on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home – Reception Centre, 60 Ridout Street South, London from 2-4 in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers donations in Aileen’s memory may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program, 800 Commissioners Road East, London, ON N6A 5W9.     To Virginia and family, so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. When I met her she was a gracious pleasant lady, that’s what I will remember. Take care of each other, Sincere condolences. Linda

    I will be forever grateful to Aileen for “adopting” me when I arrived in Canada 48 years ago. She was a dear friend and I will miss her very much. Thinking of all of you at this sad time.
    Anne or Orphan Annie as I was so affectionately called.

    So sorry to hear of the passing of your mum. When Anne & I visited she was always so nice and happy. I first met Aileen when I was in Canada on vacation in 1969. She invited us to the cottage where I foolishly got a real bad sunburn. So now if I get too much sun it makes me think if Aileen.
