BAILEY, BOB….
Robert Brent Bailey 1934-2017, “Bob” died peacefully in University Hospital Palliative Care with Kay and Betsy by his side. Bob and Kay enjoyed 59 years of a good life together. He was predeceased by their son, Brent McKay Bailey (Veronica) in 2004, and is survived by his daughter Betsy (Ed) Hofsteede, as well as grandsons, Eamonn, presently at University in Beijing, China, and Sean, at Ryerson University in Toronto, and Brent R. Bailey in Toronto. After graduating from U.W.O., Bob joined General Motors in the London office for 5 years, moving to Oshawa in 1963, then Burlington, before joining his brother Bill in the Dealership at LMP in 1968. Bob spent many winters in Florida with Kay, enjoying his favourite pastime, golfing. Cremation and a private family service has taken place. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at the London Hunt and Country Club, 1431 Oxford Street West, London on April 8, 2017 from 2-4 pm. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, London. Having done work for Bob as a lawyer for LMP, I can say that he was a gentleman and a kind hearted person who was a pleasure to be associated with. He will be missed. My condolences to Kay and the family.
