Obituary
Willoughby, Judy….
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Judy on Friday, February 17th at Parkwood Palliative Care, in her 72nd year. Judy was born in Winnipeg on September 27, 1945, the only daughter of Peter and Nellie Mudry, who predeceased her, and is survived by her brother Jim. She was the best friend and loving wife of Rod Willoughby for over 51 years and devoted mother to Dr. Rod (Cory) and Colin MCpl (Ret.), CD1 (Joanne) and proud grandmother of Connor, Matthew, Meghan, Charlotte, Mallory and Eric. Judy was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Bob Mitchell, and will be dearly missed by her mother-in-law Margaret Willoughby, sister-in-law Charlotte Mitchell, and brothers-in-law Dwight (Leah), Randy (Alwine) and Ron (Lil), uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Judy treasured her family, and made them a warm and comforting home in the seven cities that Rod’s work took them to. She enjoyed her craftwork, cross stitch, tole painting, knitting, and her many plants. The outdoors, camping, travel and Caribbean cruises, were a particular pleasure for Judy, along with a love of animals, especially her cats. Judy’s laughter, smile and warm and loving nature will be deeply missed and is forever in our hearts and memories. Family and friends will be received at A. Millard George Funeral Home 60 Ridout Street South, London, on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 2-4pm, where the service will be held at 4pm. Cremation has taken place. The family expresses a special thank you to Doctors George Kim, Paul Adams, and nurse Paul Myers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkwood Institute (Palliative Care) 550 Wellington Street, London, ON N6C 0A7, or London Health Sciences Foundation c/o Transplant Program, University Hospital 747 Baseline Road East, London, Ontario N6C 2R6, or a charity of your choice. Judy was a special person. My young memory of her was her visits to the farm where she would love up all the animals. Our white chickens wore her lipstick from being kissed. She was so proud of her children, their wives and her grandchildren. I thank Rod and Judy for the close relationship they had with my parents. Our hearts are with you in your loss.

Dear Rod and Family,
Judy was a loving Wife, Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, and Friend to all. As a young girl spending time at the Willoughby house, she always made me feel welcome and cared for. I have treasured memories of that time. Thank you Judy for showing the same loving kindness to my family and my girls whenever we would meet. You will be missed.
