I knew Lea as a co-worker at a bank in the early 1960’s. Lea had recently arrived from England and secured a position of teller at the same bank as I also was a teller. Soon after Lea arrived a handsome, dark haired young man began to visit Leas teller station and would wait for Lea to assist him with his financial requirements. No other teller would do. As time went by the visits increased in time and frequency and in due course they were married. I remember a beautiful, charming young gentle woman and am pleased to know she had a loving family. Rest in peace. Sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
You were deeply loved, Mrs. Banerjee, by your family and friends. We always had fun together, and shared lots of laughs, at many gatherings and parties. Thank you for being a great friend to my parents and our family. We miss you already! Love, Elaine
