Dorothy Denomy

DENOMY, Dorothy……It is with profound sadness that the family of Dorothy Denomy announced her passing on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Victoria Hospital, in her 90th year. Dorothy is survived by her children, Peter (Brenda), Michael (Ellen), Kathy Morris, David (Kathy), Stephen (Manon) and Mary McBean (Jim), 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Frank (2012). Dorothy was born in London, Ontario to Henry and Nora Chipchase, the 7th of 10 children. She outlived them all. Looking for a challenge, Dorothy learned to drive at 50, and became a very successful Avon representatvie. She was also an avid Blue Jay fan, who cheered loudly when they won and grumbled just as loudly when they lost. Dorothy loved to watch the birds at her feeder and to feed the stray cats in the neighbourhood but, most of all, she loved her family. She will be missed by us all. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff on the B9 floor, to quote Mother, “they all are very kind.” Friends will be received by the family for a Celebration of Dorothy’s Life on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 6-8pm at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. At Dorothys request , no service will be held.
