BROPHEY, Hugh…. Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London with his wife by his side on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 Hugh Brophey in his 82 year. Beloved husband of Agnes (Davidson) for 58 years. Cherished father of Alison Brophey (Wayne Satchell) and David Brophey. Proud Bubby of Daniel Brophey. Loving brother of Karen McLellan (late Donald). Brother-in-law of Allan Davidson (Agnes), Catherine Orr (late Robert), James Davidson (Dorothy) and Richard Davidson (late Marlene). Missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Vera and Arthur Brophey and his siblings Pearl Bloomfield (Ed), Jim Brophey (Joan), Doreen Wilson (Bruce) and Sgt. Burton Brophey. A special thanks to the staff at Parkwood Hospital 3B West and University Hospital for their loving care. A private funeral service will be held at A. Millard George Funeral Home, London, 519-433-5184. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph Health Care Foundation – Parkwood Institute 3B West, 550 Wellington Road, London ON N6C 0A7 or Westmount Presbyterian Church – Memorial Fund, 521 Village Green Avenue, London ON N6K 1C3. Agnes and family, my sincere condolences to you.
Hugh set a wonderful Christian example and was loved by everyone that had the privilege of knowing him. I will always remember his quiet unassuming smile that made everyone feel special.

Uncle Hugh will always be remembered as a kind ,caring and generous family man. I recall many family gatherings with that he and Agnes made so enjoyable with lasting memories.
