Obituary
GORAYEB, Elie Emile…..
Peacefully surrounded and supported by his family on March 7, 2016, Elie Emile Gorayeb, age 68 joined his father Paul (1997), his mother Genevieve (1990), his sister Shirley (2003), and his sister Doreen (1996). He is survived by his dear sister Florence (Sarkice). He will continue, as was his nature, to send love to his family – beloved wife Suzanne (Renault), his loving daughters Elise and Janic, proud grand-father to Nicholas and Ella who knew him as their Giddee and son-in-law Jamey. Elie will be sadly missed by many extended family members. Elie always spoke fondly of his cousins and cherished many memories with them and was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews including Genevieve, Paula, Paul, Andrew, Christopher, and Brian and nine great-nieces and nephews! Elie was a kind and affectionate man who loved his family and friends dearly and enjoyed making loved ones laugh. Playing poker was his passion and always cherished trips to Las Vegas and poker games with family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice for providing compassionate, holistic care to Elie. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at St. George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London, at 10 am. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Elie’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 3rd floor – 485 Windermere Road, London, ON N5X 2T1. Online condolences, memories and photographs shared at www.amgfh.com

Elie, I remember the day we met in the summer of 2003. It was a wonderful (dark, due to a power outage) day. You have always shown me compassion and welcomed me into your home. I will treasure the laughs we shared forever and you are in my thoughts today and always.. Rest peacefully my friend.
