MCGAUGHEY, Joy…..

Peacefully and surrounded by family, Joy (Gemmell) McGaughey at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Bill McGaughey for over 64 years. Dear mother of the late Donald McGaughey (2009), Thomas McGaughey and his wife Elizabeth, and Cameron McGaughey all of London. Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Ian, Katie and Andrew. Also survived by her sister-in- law Phyllis Gemmell, brother-in-law John Palkovic and daughter-in-law Joanne Marchand, all of London. Predeceased by her sister Anne Noel (1995) and her brother Donald Gemmell (2001). Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (12-1 pm) on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1pm. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario, 41 King William St, Hamilton, ON L8R 1A2 or the CNIB London Chapter, 749 Base Line Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6.
