How does one determine if their life was fulfilling? Its only when this chapter we call life closes can we truly answer this question. As you lived your life and it comes to an end the true question of fulfillment is “did you leave this world a better place then when you enter it”?
As we all reflect on the memories of Dad we can reflect and ask did he accomplish this in his lifetime.
There were good times and yes there were some tough times we endured as a family. And a family we are. Dad was the proud father of 7 wonderful children (well most of the time we were ) 14 amazing grand children and 10 great grandchildren . the lives dad has created (with help of course) and the lives he has touched is truly wonderful and amazing. To see his grandchildren grow and have their own children, one can only sit back and with a great pride and satisfaction say you defiantly left this world a better place, well done dad!
As sad as these last few days have been we will replace those tears with that same smile that dad would give us as he told one of his stories. We will remember the good times we shared with you, the life lessons you taught us and we will just remember you dad. Rest in peace dad Love you!
My condolences on your loss , Bob was treasure to get to know. I enjoyed his stories
