Ivan was a kind, thoughtful and very hospitable gentleman who welcomed me to Canada by involving me in a trumpet trio and inviting me into his family home frequently. What a privilege it has been to know such a special person!
From Fort Myers, Fla.

Cathy, Ron, Erika and Racine, I’m so sorry to hear about your Father & Grandfather’s passing. I never had the good fortune of meeting Ivan, but I loved hearing stories about him from Cathy. He sounded like such a character and a loving, kind soul. I’ll be thinking about you guys over the next few difficult days. Laura
My heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I remember Ivan was an amazing man and a dear friend to my parents. God bless you all!
I am sorry for your loss. It is difficult to deal with the loss of someone so dear to us. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 reminds us that God is always there to comfort us. I hope this helps you and your family.
