Being buddies for a number of years, I reflect on the good times we had travelling, boating and just hanging out!
Rest in deserved peace old friend!
Bob and I were friends and colleagues for nearly 40 years. He was the best man at my wedding to Val. I am grateful for his kindness and understanding, as well as his off-beat but refreshing sense of humour.
So sad to hear our friend & neighbor Bob has passed away. Our condolences to Bob’s family, he will be missed.

Bob and Ellie were a big part of my childhood life, and I was proud to serve as flower girl at their wedding. Bob will be remembered for his humour and his love of Georgian Bay. So glad that I saw him in the fall, and we had a chance to visit. Rest in peace….reunited with Ellie.

I am the niece of Bob through Ellie. The two of these folks were very special to me and I have fond memories of spending much time with them as a child at the cottages etc. I have spent much needed time with Bob this past year as his health deteriorated and was happy to do so! Every time I have a scutterbotch sundae I will remember our many lunches. I will miss him very much.
Having worked with Bob both at Night School and at Thames S.S. I was able to see how efficient he was and how he cared about “special” kids. Sail around Parry Sound and the cottage Bob and watch over the rest of us. RIP
Bob has been a good neighbour and friend for many years. To all his family members please accept my condolences.
Remembering the good times we had working together at Thames S.S. You will be missed. Linda and Richard
Bob and I first met many years ago when we attended the same classes at Althouse College. We also wrote exams together with a few others in Toronto and had lots of good laughs to relieve that stress. We continued our friendship when Bob and my husband Glen taught together at Thames S.S. for many years. It was good to renew our friendship at a garden party held at my daughter Linda’s home two summers ago. He was a super nice man. Rest in peace Bob. Barbara Bain
I’m sorry to read of Bob’s passing. We met in the early 1990’s when I first started teaching. We had a weekly meeting every Friday afternoon at the Dawghouse to talk about week and solve the world’s problems. Bob’s laid back nature always helped this rookie teacher. He was a good friend and will be missed by many.
I am sorry for your loss. It is difficult to deal with the loss of someone you love. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 reminds us that God is always there to comfort us. I pray this helps you and your family.
I’m just finding out now, about Bob passing away. To say this is devastating news, is putting it mildly. Bob was a wonderful friend and I will never forget him. Such a terrible loss.
