CHOWEN, Kathleen….
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathleen (Philpott) Chowen in her 90th year on Friday, January 15, 2016. She was a resident at Chartwell Aylmer Long Term Care. She was beloved wife of the late Bruce Chowen (1998) and dear mother of Richard and Valerie Chowen of Port Lambton and Anne and Mark Bond of St. Thomas. Also loved by her 4 grandchildren Kathleen Rooke (Jordan), Lindsay Darlington (Wayne), Christopher Chowen (Christie) and Cameron Chowen (Caitlin) and great-grandmother to Lauren, Summer, Marina, Marcus and Lucas. Kathleen was a dear sister to Patricia Gunn of Toronto, sister-in-law of Glenn Chowen (Janet), Don Ecker and predeceased by Melva Ecker. Kathleen will be remembered by her family, extended family and friends. Friends will be received by family from 6-8 pm on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A private service of remembrance will be held. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. As an expression of remembrance, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 180-633 Colborne Street, London, ON., N6B 2V3 or London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London ON., N6C 2R6.
