Dear Ruth and Brooke-Am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Had a flashback to 55yrs. ago to the cottage at Bruce Beach and all the good times we had as kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Betsy Henderson
Ruth and Family:
How sorry I am to hear of your mother’s passing. Such a lovely lady. I remember our many pajama parties and back and forth visits… how warm and welcoming your mom was to all who entered your home.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Mary was a stalwart power behind the throne of Lionel. I followed Lionel as Secretary Treasure of the Diocese of Huron. He left to me all handwritten records which I had to put into computers. He must have done the handwritten records correctly because in the computers every thing was in balance. I recall him going once a year to worship in Hamilton. Once while there he was asked for his offering and they thought he was a down and out person so didn’t pass him the plate. Lionel always gave a beggar $1 . He never refused. Anyone. He was a saint.
