LONSWAY, Bruce….
With deep sadness, the Lonsway family announces the unexpected passing of Bruce at Chelsey Park Retirement Home in London, on Sunday, November 22, 2015, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Pauline (Broughton) Lonsway for 31 years and his first wife Margaret for 29 years. Loving father of Wayne Lonsway (Jane), Doug Lonsway (Susan) and Heather McKeown (Colin). Cherished grandpa of Jenna, Corey and Tim. Dear stepfather of Kathleen, Laurence, Mary, Stephen and Joan. Dearly missed by his siblings James Lonsway (Cathy) and Gwen Wiltshire (the late Ivan). The family would like to thank the staff at Chelsey Park and Dr. Sophie Anthireya-Kakani for the care and support they provided. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11am, at St. George’s Anglican Church, 227 Wharncliffe Road North, London ON N6H 2B6, with The Reverend Canon Dr. Timothy G. Connor officiating. Cremation with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dundalk, Ontario. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church – Renew Accessible Faith (elevator and accessible bathrooms). Pauline, I am thinking of you at this time and wish I could be there too. I’ll call you soon after things are less rushed for you. I remember Bruce from visits to the farm as a child and am glad that we reconnected those several times as you went north from Florida. Pauline . Please accept my sincerest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. We miss seeing Bruce at St.James euchre group , but he was alone , finally. He will be greatly missed at St. George’s .
