My sincere condolences on behalf of our community family at Ark Aid Mission go out to the family of Darryl. Life, and the events of life can seem unfair at times. What I do know in the time spent with Darryl in his final weeks is that his prayers were answered in seeing his siblings again, as he spoke often of his appreciation with time spent with his family.
As for his extended family and community, Darryl will be missed. He had made a lot of positive changes to his life. Darryl was always there for everyone.
He was certain of his destination when he left this world as his comment to my question days before he passed….”Darryl, what are you thinking about?” (Darryl) “I’m just wondering what that place will be like when I get there.” Darryl believed in and loved Jesus. He knew he would be joining him soon. We will see you again my friend.
Plans will be announced shortly for a Celebration of Life service for Darryl. Please contact Pastor Dan at the Ark for details.

My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
I knew Darryl in passing for the majority of our friendship, and only grew to know him better in the past year in attending church with him. He had a kind and caring heart, a quick wit, and always made time for people when they needed an ear.
His sense of humor, his heart for helping others, and his loving and compassionate spirit will be surely missed.
Rest in Peace, my friend, and may God keep you now. You are now in the company of angels.
