SMITH, Angus….
Peacefully with family by his side at Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, Angus Smith in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Nancy (Taylor) Smith for 47 years. Loving dad of Duane Smith (Dona Molintas), David Smith and Michael Smith (Aimee Lazaro and her daughter Mika). Dear brother of Judy McElvanney (Jack), Aleck Smith (June), Linda Fleming (Les) and brother-in-law of Pat Anderson (Jim) and Vic Taylor (Sharon). Predeceased by his brother Eric Smith. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Dearly missed by his cats Angel and Devil. The family would like to thank the staff at C6 Palliative Care – Victoria Hospital for their loving care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1pm at Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church, 111 Elmwood Avenue, London ON N6C 1J4 with a visitation 1 hour prior (12-1 pm). A private inurnment at Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church – Roof Fund. A. My heart was in a shock when I heard last night this saddest news. Nancy you and Angus gave us the most memories of keeping in touch with family ( first counsin) when life is always so busy. Memories of Angus he very peaceful in family gatherings smiling and had humour.
Nancy your relationship with Angus of laughing and smling and chatting gave much strenght to those around you both and your wonderful boys.
